Well, the child (Veronica) did it again! (She had help from the hubby too) So now The Quilting Fold has a Facebook Page and I have to learn how to manage it. On top of that, the festival is next weekend and I am nowhere near ready! Just not enough time to do everything that I want to do!!!
But the kid (Veronica) has been a big help, putting together my fabric selection booklet (just in case anyone wants to order a quilt) :) Also, got a request for a memory quilt made from baby clothes....never attempted that, but I am going to learn!
Oh, Joanna has been making these cute necklaces that I am going to have at the festival too. Will have to get some pics from her. Or wait til next weekend and just take the pics myself. LOL
Is there going to be any time for sleeping in the next 8 days????

Precisely Pink
Well, the Precisely Pink Baby Quilt is done. Also, completed Boys Lined Up Baby Quilt.
Precisely Pink.....................
Boys Lined Up .......... Normally, when I take pics indoors, my cats find a way to get in the pic, sooo I took this one outside. Needless to say, our dog, Pete, has been taking lessons from the cats...LOL
Got Pete off the quit, but he still wanted to be in the pic. :)
Just loved the tools flannel backing
I guess my quilts need to be 'Pet Approved' lol
Here's another Table Topper that has been completed this week. Burgundy is one of my fave colors.

Back to the Patriotic Series
Well, my original goal was to update this blog once a week. That has fallen by the wayside....lol. I started out rather well though. Anyway, at the moment I still have three WIP's going on. Here's one that I finished up this morning. This is another lap-size quilt for the Patriotic Series. I have another to quilt (soon as I figure out how to quilt it) and bind and then two more to make. After that will be the Pets Duo and I will be up to date on the lap-size quilts. However, I have a Precisely Pink baby quilt on the machine in the midst of stippling and the top for another Table Topper waiting to be sandwiched, stippled and bind. At least I know what's on my to-do list.
So here's today's completion.....
American Freedom
and a 'Preview' of Sparklers

This is all glittery fabrics. Which looks really neat, but is a pain to get off the cutting mat and ironing board. Hee hee...wait til my hubby goes to iron his shirt....lol
The best suggestion I read about was to use a lint roller. :) Works pretty well too.
Anyway, I haven't tried stippling this size yet, so this may be my first attempt at it. Usually, with the lap quilts I just stitch-in-the-ditch. You know, play it safe. However, I really, really like the way this quilt is coming along and am probably going to stipple it. :) Wish me luck!

Cars, Cars, Cars
A busy weekend, of course it's Monday and has been raining off n on. LOL Although, we have a big storm coming in this evening. However, I did find some 'dry time' to get some pics outside. Completed 2 more car quilts (Throw size or across the Car size).
Who says car shows are just for men?
Had to make this one kinda girly!
I really love the paisley on it!
Absolutely thrilled with how this one turned out.
Kinda EYE-POPPING wouldn't you say?
Not a big fan of orange & black, but really liked the polka-dots!
So that's my endeavors for this weekend. :o)
I have two more Car Themed fabrics to work with. So it's back to the studio! :o)

Table Toppers.....Round 1
I have space reserved for a booth at a Festival in June. Making some Table Toppers to sell. I still need to do some Christmas ones and a few more in other colors. Then I can get back to the Car Series and the Americana Series. :) Here's the first group........

Busy Busy
I've been busy cutting, piecing and working on my Free Motion Quilting. I'm getting better at it......I think..?
Here's what has been accomplished this week......
I loved the way this lil Boy Baby Quilt turned out. This is such an easy block to make....
There are 12 blocks in the body of the quilt. The center rectangle is cut at 6 1/2" X 10" and the two blue rectangles are cut at 31/2" x 10". A blue rectangle on each side of the center rectangle. Two seams to sew and the block is done. I got the block pattern from a tutorial by Quilting in the Rain. She has such fun ideas!
I may do this block again in pinks! Just not today..........lol
This one is 15 X 37 1/2 Table Topper. As you can see, it is reversible. :)
I started the blocks for this on Friday (4.19.12), but then couldn't figure out how to quilt it without taking away from the block design. This morning I just decided to stitch a bunch of small loops on the white areas. Some stitch-in-the-Ditch along the white border and .............. Waaa-LA! It's done. :o)

A 22" square Table Topper
This one can be completed in a few hours. It's just 2 1/2" strips.
I made it yesterday...start to finish. (4.20.12)

Sweethearts Baby Quilt
Have been back at home for a few days now. It took the first couple of days to get back into our routine. Yesterday, I finally got into the frame of mind to get back to quilting. So I finished a project that was started before we went to KY. Here it is..........Sweethearts!
